The Team

  • Aaron Stewart

    Aaron is a Project Manager at Signify. He's responsible for communication, planning and progress. With a background in business, Aaron enjoys people, music, reading, fine days, and cider. He’d like to do post-graduate work in history, finish his law degree, and travel more.

  • Ben Sunko

    Ben is Signify's fantastic System Admin. He started programming in 1996 and began doing sysadmin work in 2004, and has a BSc in Computer Science. Outside of work he enjoys watching movies, working in the garden, going camping and reading.

  • Brian Milne

    Brian is a Senior Web Developer at Signify. He has a BA and a Diploma of Library and Information Studies and has been working in the web since 1994. Outside of work he is a keen footballer, and Manchester United fan, and also enjoys reading alternative history novels.

  • Bridget Martin

    Bridget is a Web Developer at Signify. She is a reformed librarian. Seeing the light after seven years of working in libraries, she made a career shift into web development and design. She has a BSc in Psychology (Massey) and a MLIS (Masters of Library and Information Studies) from Victoria University.

  • Dan Jacka

    Dan works as a Web Developer at Signify. He got his own computer - an Atari ST - in 1987, and fondly remembers looking up 'variable' in the dictionary on his first foray into programming. Some years later he graduated with a BSc in Software Engineering. Dan left his native England for New Zealand in 2005, but still can't pronounce 'Paraparaumu' properly. He also likes to skateboard in the sunshine.

  • Daniel Bar-Even

    Daniel is a shareholder in Signify through his family trust. Daniel was an executive Director from 2004 to 2011. Dan only left his day to day role to pursue travel overseas and he currently maintains his interest in Signify as a shareholder.

  • Elliot Strange

    Elliot is the founder and Managing Director of Signify. Elliot has a BA from Waikato University, a Diploma in Pastoral Studies and a postgraduate qualification in Business Administration from Victoria University. Elliot has been playing with computers since the late '80s but only really got interested in the internet in the early '90s. Outside of work he tries to find time for golf when he is not playing with his two daughters and fighting his overgrown gardens.

  • Jill Matthews

    Jill is our Accounts Officer. She has a B. Ed from Waikato University and has had a long and varied career in Wellington. Outside of work she loves to read, go for long walks and spend time with her family and friends.

  • Jonathan Beauchamp

    Jonathan manages Signify's development team and is a shareholder in Signify through his family trust. He has been working with software since 1995 and has certificates and diplomas in software and electronics engineering. Jonathan plays golf and likes PC and console gaming.

  • Kevin Obbayi

    Kevin is a Business Analyst at Signify and brings considerable international experience and best practise to our Business Analysis processes and methodology. Kevin has a BSc in Computer Science and an MBA from Washington University. Before joining Signify Kevin worked as a senior consultant at Hitachi in Seattle for three years where he worked on numerous projects for medium to large enterprises. Outside of work Kevin keeps a blog on coffee culture and is a keen photographer.

  • Levi Wilson-Brown

    Levi is an intern web developer at Signify. He has a BA in Information Science and Music from the University of Otago. Outside of work he enjoys gaming, playing the guitar, and combat sports.

  • Logan Orr

    Logan is a Web Developer at Signify and on the home straight towards completing a Bachelor of IT in Software Engineering at Victoria University. When he is not being a bright spark at the office Logan spends his weekends watching movies, eating ice-cream and dominating his favourite video game Deus Ex.

  • Matthew Dawbin

    Matthew Dawbin is an Account Executive at Signify. He looks after client site maintenance and is Signify’s "Minister of Happiness". Outside of work, Matthew is a keen sports aficionado and loves to nothing more than to watch his teams on the weekend.

  • Matthew Hassall

    Matthew is an intern web developer at Signify. He is currently studying for his Bachelor of Business Information Systems.

  • Sadie Hughes

    Sadie is Signify's friendly front of house administrator. Sadie has a BS in Physical Education from The College of Idaho.  She enjoys writing, baking and being involved with her church. One day Sadie would like to go back to school to become an ESOL teacher so that she can helped refugees learn English and adjust to New Zealand or Canadian culture - depending on where she’s living.

  • Sam Garcia

    Sam has a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and is an intern at Signify as part of the Summer of Tech 2010. She enjoys creative persuits outside of work including drawing, painting, playing the piano and learning the guitar. She also loves listening to music and her taste is always changing.

  • Steve Piner

    Steve is Signify's Infrastructure and Developer Guru. He has a BSc and has been programming since 1984. Steve enjoys B movies and has written numerous cool applications for fun.

  • Tom Weber

    Tom is Signify’s Senior Account Manager. After getting a Maths degree at university Tom started work installing operating systems on IBM 370 computers. Between then and now he has worked in New Zealand Government, run his own IT business in America, and lead a global IT shop for a large American multi-national. Tom’s background enables him to understand our client’s needs. When not at work you can find Tom sailing, or learning the finer (read painful) points of Tae Kwon Do from his son.
