Signify’s Easy Sign-on tool: Privacy without the complex user ID and password
Signify’s Easy Sign-on tool makes applying online easy. You don’t need to create an account or login. Instead the system uses your email address to send you a “token” which you use to access and complete your application. This confirms the identity of the sender and maintains privacy without the sender having to hold an account or remember a password.
“Everyone wants to move to a paperless society but people need to fill out forms for all kinds of things. Easy Sign-on is a simple but ingenious way of taking the headache, and the paper, out of form submission using a simple email address. The tool also offers easy-to-add details, including a clever mapping feature” explains Mike Walczak, Managing Director of Signify.
The form auto-saves inputted content so applicants can easily pick up where they left off. There is also a drag-and-drop field for easy multi-format file uploading and removing.
This interactive map enables you to mark out locations relevant to your application or indicate preferred location of deliveries, etc.
Signify originally designed the Easy Sign-on tool to help the Ministry of Justice build a website for people to submit claims for customary rights under the Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act 2011. The system is now being used to help Health and Safety New Zealand create an online directory of practitioners, and will help Courts of New Zealand streamline the submission and storage of court-case files.
Easy Sign-on can be used as a stand-alone tool or combined with Signify’s Form-it tool, which can monitor, store or display submitted data in any way you like to ensure maximum value.
