One of Signify’s core values is to "Be Good". This may seem somewhat idealistic but nonetheless it reflects the company’s heart. We earnestly believe we have a commitment to being good. This commitment to being good and being sustainable is focused on the following groups and entities that we believe have a vested interest in the outcomes of our business practices.

The Environment, we are committed to...
- A Low Carbon Footprint. We have worked with CarboNZero to measure our footprint, are committed on an ongoing basis to continue to reduce it and have purchased twice as many carbon credits as we use.
- Recycling. As much as possible we use recycled stationary supplies. We also recycle waste including having our own composting system.
- Using public transport. We use buses instead of taxis wherever possible. None of the team have paid car parks to encourage the use of public transport to and from work.
The Community, we are committed to...
- Pro-bono projects. Including Philanthropy NZ, The NZ Poetry Society, Charmaine Ford, The Drug Foundation.
- Donating to charities. We have a monthly budget we donate to various charities including food banks and children's needs.
- Being advocates for accessibility on the web (Webstock, Web standards NZ).
Our People, we are committed to...
- Work-life balance for our staff. (Birthdays are Annual Leave, we have an 8 hours a day is OK policy for all the team).
- Training and up-skilling our people. We also proactively employ interns without experience to give them a break in the industry
- Affirmative action to create a balanced team.
