Testing

Providing confidence that your application meets your needs

Quality Assurance Testing at Signify

Quality Assurance Testing is core to everything we deliver at Signify. We offer a range of testing approaches depending on the individual requirements, including:

  • Functional testing (end-to-end business workflow)
  • Regression testing
  • User acceptance testing
  • Interface/browser compliance testing
  • HTML/CSS Code validation
  • Accessibility testing (Government Web Standards and WCAG2 guidelines)
  • Unit testing/automated regression testing
  • Back and front-end performance testing
  • Security penetration testing

Signify use these approaches to tailor a comprehensive testing solution. This verifies that our applications meet your requirements, work as expected, and contribute to a successful IT project.

Signify's Testing Methodology

Signify’s test team is involved in projects from the outset. The team works closely with the client, our business analysts, solution architects, and developers to deliver a test plan that ensures full coverage.

The test team at Signify executes test scripts independently from the development team. It logs failed tests in our bug tracking system so they can be individually and accurately tracked through to resolution. This helps us to ensure our work matches your requirements and is carried out to a high standard.

Testing Implementation

Signify’s test team tests all our development projects. It also undertakes specialist test projects such as the Reserve Bank of New Zealand site upgrade, where Signify provided third party quality assurance, testing the migrated content across a wide range of browsers and devices.
