ServiceIQ

ServiceIQ offers top of the line training in the areas of Aviation, Travel, Tourism, Museums, Hospitality, Retail and Wholesale sectors with the goal of building qualified, world class service industry workers

The Problem

ServiceIQ offers top of the line training in the Aviation, Travel, Tourism, Museums, Hospitality, Retail and Wholesale sectors. The goal is qualified, world-class service industry workers.

ServiceIQ was formed in 2013 after three key Industry Training Organizations (ITOs) merged - ATTTO, HSI and Retail Institute.

Along with the new brand, ServiceIQ wanted a new website to provide information to their varied audiences and stakeholders, businesses seeking training arrangements and employees interested in developing and improving their skills.

What We Did

Based on ServiceIQ’s requirements and timeline, Signify chose to develop the new responsive site in SilverStripe. We worked with ServiceIQ to develop requirements based on the original branding and worked with their designer to ensure the site would work technically without compromising the interactive functionality.

We continued this approach by creating interactive wireframes to allow Service IQ to decide what would and would no work for them. During development we had regular ‘show and tell sessions’ to allow the content editors to review functionality as we went.

We applied some CSS3 animations and transition effects to make the site really stand out. Another cool piece of functionality allows users to look up their qualification and share a ribbon on their social media pages.
